thin walls small bathroom
the location proved convenient, offering easy access to nearby attractions.
my room, a double room private bathroom, faced a courtyard and had some issues. the noise from other guests echoed loudly through thin walls disrupting sleep. the bathroom was quite small making simple tasks challenging.

proper soundproofing exhausting experience
Location proved acceptable. The breakfast was good.
The room felt quite small and lacked proper soundproofing. All NIGHT people went to the toilet and I could hear doors slamming. It was a exhausting experience. The room provided no peace.

The location provided easy access to the cathedral. The included breakfast offered a great start to the day. The staff was always friendly. The room was very clean and tidy, which I valued.
I found that the room had no television. This was a minor inconvenience.

the building's transformation into a hotel works very well. its location within the cathedral close offers fine views. i found the inclusive private parking particularly convenient. the proximity to eateries outside the cathedral precincts made dining out easy.
my room lacked a tv, though wi-fi was available. i consider this a minor issue. others might find it more significant.

a grateful stay
lovely atmosphere beautiful location
the lady at the front desk was lovely. the breakfast was wonderful. the building create a lovely atmosphere. not sketchy at all. the location is outstandingly beautiful with the fabulous cathedral very close.
the central heating did not work in parts of the building. the corridors were chilly. a heater was put in my bedroom so it was warm enough there.

Great Stay Near the Cathedral
onsite parking friendly staff cooked options
The location was fantastic with onsite parking. I enjoyed views of the Cathedral. It took me about five minutes to walk to the city center. The building had a traditional feel and quirky rooms! The staff were friendly and very helpful, a real asset. Breakfast tasted great. I found it very delicious. The cooked options stood out.
My room was a bit cold because the heaters did not work. There was no TV, not a big issue. I also found no hair dryer in the room, and check out was at 9.30, a bit early. The bed was not really comfortable!

The breakfast offered a typical British selection. I appreciated plant-based milk, yogurts, and fresh fruit. The dining area created a unique communal experience with fellow travelers and academics. It was special.

The accommodation is very central. The cathedral is close by. The walk to the city center is about 15 minutes! The train station is a 25-minute walk away. The location was perfect! though the parking was expensive.
